The main mehndi shapes

Farshi ghararas are fitted to the knee, then flared from a gathered joint to the floor, with a shirt that can run from about 30 inches to the ankle. Lehengas come with a short choli, a kurti or a long peshwas, and angrakha frocks wrap across the bodice and fall long over a lehenga, slim trousers or a shalwar. Ivory, off-white and gold ghararas belong with nikkah outfits, so for a mehndi look start with yellow, mustard and green. Colour and embroidery

Yellow and mustard are the classic mehndi colours, and greens run from mint and pistachio to sage, emerald and bottle green; the yellow mehndi dresses and green mehndi outfits pages show each colour alone. Orange, peach, blue and nude pink widen the choice. Embroidery comes in rose gold, silver, gold or multicolour, built from dabka, salma sitara, nakshi, kora and zari with sequins and pearls, and finished with gota, tassels or latkans.

Bridal delivery times are calendar days from the day after you order and include stitching and shipping: Normal Delivery up to 3 months, free; Rush Delivery up to 30 calendar days, €59; Super Rush Delivery up to 14 calendar days, €199. These are the option names you will see at checkout. Import charges are normally prepaid by us; if a courier ever asks you for customs, duty or tax, send us the receipt and we refund the verified amount.

Should I measure in inches or centimetres?

Our workshop works in inches, and centimetres are shown for reference. You can order a standard size, choosing the larger one if you fall between two, or Custom Size, which is stitched exactly to the measurements you send. After you order, our team contacts you to confirm the full set.

Can I change the colour of a mehndi dress?

Yes. Bridal designs can be changed, for example to a new colour pairing, a different sleeve length or more neckline coverage. Tell us before you order. Changes that add fabric, embroidery or labour are priced and agreed first, and during production you can ask for progress photos and close-up videos.

Can bridesmaids wear the same mehndi designs?

Yes. Mehndi designs can be ordered for bridesmaids, so sisters and friends can match the bride’s colour or take a softer shade of it. Each outfit is stitched after ordering, in its wearer’s standard size or to her measurements, and our team contacts each customer to confirm the details.
