Green Bridal Sharara

€699.00

The Green Bridal Sharara is cut as a three-piece Farshi gharara: an ankle-length khaddi net shirt, a Jamawar gharara over a cancan, and a matching organza dupatta. Small rosettes dot the bottle-green net between heavier edges at the neckline, sleeves and hem; the fit can be standard or taken from your measurements.

Khaddi net over a Jamawar Farshi gharara

The Jamawar Farshi gharara pools on the floor in a gold-and-green pattern, and several parallel bands run round it just above the hem. Above it, the shirt spaces its motifs across the green and saves its densest metallic work for the boat neckline, the sleeve ends and the bottom edge. Long leaf shapes line the full sleeves, and trim circles the round back. The organza dupatta is crossed by stripes of metal over a sheer field and edged with a wide scalloped border of large medallions. Antique gold, gold, rose gold, silver and antique silver are all used in the work; the outfit is silk lined and weighs around 5 kg.

Bottle green, held to light

Bottle green is named for glass and behaves like it here: dark where the net is layered, brighter and nearer emerald where light gets through, with blue underneath. The rosettes scattered over it are modest. Most of the shirt is given over to the colour itself.

Hold green glass in the sun and it throws a golden pool on the table beneath. The Jamawar does that for this dress. With gold through its pattern, the lower half glows warmer than the shirt, and the line where the two meet reads clearly even from a distance.

Because the shirt is so open, the dupatta can afford to be busy. Shining stripes break it at intervals, and its broad scallops stay in view when it is taken across the front and when it trails behind.

At the Mehndi, the Mayun or a Reception

Green is a familiar Mehndi colour, and this deep bottle green with its gold belongs with the green Mehndi outfits. It moves easily to a Mayun or Dholki, to a Reception, or to a bridesmaid. The Emerald Green Bridal Gharara shifts to emerald and uses tissue silk for both shirt and bottom. The antique-gold set seen here is for styling; since the neckline carries its own gold rim, jhumkas with white stones and a tikka would let the dupatta’s border lead.

You stay in control until it ships

Watch it being made

Ask us at any stage and we send photographs or video of your actual outfit — from the first sketch through the embroidery frame to the finished garment. Ask as often as you like on WhatsApp.

A complete video before it ships

Before the parcel is sealed we send you a full video of the finished outfit. If a detail needs adjusting, tell us then and we make the change where it is workable. Nothing leaves us until you have seen it.

Exactly what you see

The photographs and video on this page are of the outfit we make — the same fabrics, the same handwork, the same weight in the hand. A screen can only carry so much: it cannot show how the zardozi catches light as you turn, or how the ghera moves when you walk. That is why we send you a video of your own outfit before it ships, so you judge the real thing rather than a photograph.

Sizing & Measurements

Choose a standard size, or select Customised Size and we stitch to your own measurements at no extra cost.

Your size or measurement details are provided before checkout is completed, which is why production can begin the day after you order. If a measurement is unclear, send it to us on WhatsApp before you submit it and our team will confirm it with you.

Size guide and how to measure

Care

  1. Always put paper between the layers when you fold it away. Kora, dabka and nakshi are metallic wire, and the fabric underneath them is fine. Every time the outfit is opened or folded, a stitch on one layer can catch the layer pressed against it and tear through it. A sheet of tissue or plain paper between the layers keeps the wire work away from the cloth, and it costs nothing. Use plain paper rather than newspaper on pale or ivory fabrics, because newsprint ink can mark them.
  2. Store it folded, not hanging. A heavily worked outfit is heavy, and months on a hanger pull the weight onto the shoulder seams.
  3. Dry clean only. Hand and machine washing damages metallic embroidery. Tell your cleaner the outfit carries zardozi, dabka or similar metallic handwork so it is cleaned by hand rather than by machine.
  4. Keep it away from direct sunlight and damp. Perfume and hairspray go on before the outfit, not after.

Questions About This Outfit

Can the design be customised?

Yes. Most customers ask for the design to be made a little more modest — higher neckline, longer or fuller sleeves, more coverage at the back, a longer shirt. Tell us what you want changed on WhatsApp before you order so the pattern is cut correctly the first time. Colour, embroidery colour, sleeves, neckline and length are all adjustable on most designs.

Will the dress look exactly like the photographs?

It will be very close, and we do not compromise on the embroidery or the fabric. Two honest exceptions: the colour shade can look slightly different because of studio lighting and your screen, and because every customer's height and body type is different, a pattern may need to be adjusted so the design sits correctly on you — on a shorter frame, for example, part of the shirt pattern may have to be re-cut. Ask for the final video before dispatch and you will see the actual garment before it ships.

Can I return or exchange it after delivery?

No. Every outfit is cut and stitched for one customer, so it cannot be resold or swapped for another size. That is exactly why the review happens before dispatch: ask for progress photographs and video at any stage, and for the complete final video before your order ships. An order can still be cancelled before dispatch — the windows and deductions are set out in our return policy.

Is there any extra cost on top of the price shown?

No hidden charges. The price you see is the price of the outfit. The only additions are the ones you choose yourself: Rush or Super Rush delivery, and any paid add-ons such as jewellery. Each is priced clearly before you pay.

Can I get matching jewellery with this outfit?

Yes. Matching earrings, necklace and related pieces are available as paid add-ons on this product — select them before you add the outfit to your basket and they are made and shipped with the same order.

Can I get a matching hijab or an extra dupatta?

Yes. Both are possible. Message us on WhatsApp when you place your order and we will tell you exactly how to arrange it.

Is Rush or Super Rush delivery available for this outfit?

Yes, on bridal and groom wear. The Estimated Delivery Timeline box near the top of this page shows live dates for Free, Rush and Super Rush against today's date, so it is always accurate for your order.
