Choosing a walima silhouette

Walima lehengas set a choli or long shirt over a flared skirt, usually with a cancan layer for fullness, or with a farshi length that pools on the floor. More are in our bridal lehenga section. Gowns and maxis can be closed or open at the front over a lehenga, some with a trail; compare them on the bridal gowns page. Ghararas come in farshi styles with a floor-length flare, while a sharara widens from the hip; both are collected in our bridal gharara range.

Colours and embroidery

Walima colour palettes can run from reds and maroons to ivory and white, soft pinks and peach, ice blue, gold, silver and grey, with lilac and soft greens too. Embroidery comes in silver, rose gold, gold or antique tones, combining dabka, zari, nakshi, salma sitara, kora and sequins on fabrics such as organza or tissue silk. Dupattas are organza or chiffon, and sleeves range from full length to half or sleeveless. A colour, sleeve or neckline change can be requested before you order; if it adds fabric, embroidery or labour, it is priced and agreed with you before work starts.

Delivery to Germany

Bridal delivery times count calendar days from the day after your order and include stitching and shipping. At checkout you can choose:

• Normal Delivery: up to 3 months, free
• Rush Delivery: up to 30 calendar days, €59
• Super Rush Delivery: up to 14 calendar days, €199

With less than three months to your walima, choose Rush Delivery; with less than 30 days, Super Rush Delivery. Import charges are normally prepaid by us. If a courier ever asks you for customs, duty or tax, send us the receipt and we refund the verified amount.

Walima dress questions

How do I give my measurements?

Choose Custom Size when you order, and our team then contacts you for the full set of measurements; the dress is stitched exactly to them. You can also order a standard size from XS to XL. Our workshop works in inches, with centimetres shown for reference, and if you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Can I see my dress while it is being made?

Yes. While your walima dress is being stitched and embroidered, you can ask us for progress photos and close-up videos of the work, so you can follow the embroidery and the colour as they take shape in our workshop. Ask on WhatsApp at any stage of production.

Do you also make outfits for the other wedding functions?

Yes. All our bridal wear is made in the same workshops, including our nikkah dress collection and the wider Pakistani bridal collection, so several outfits for one wedding can be ordered together and planned against your dates. If the functions are close together, Rush Delivery or Super Rush Delivery can be chosen for each order at checkout.
